Our airy and spacious Cabanas and Suites feature all the comforts of home, with most including full access to private outdoor patios, air conditioned comfort inside and even a swimming pool for guest use. From meals to sleeping arrangements and a bed time treat, your pet may enjoy your time away more than you do!
Dog Boarding
At Barkaritaville we offer several types of accommodations for your pet. Our goal is to re-create the home environment and daily schedule of your pet while giving them as much human interaction as possible. All enclosures have a climate controlled HVAC system and are sanitized with our central vacuum cleaning system daily.
Accommodations:
- Cabana with Patio - (4′ x 8′) without patio (32 sq ft) Our most popular enclosure that has antimicrobial partitioned panels between guests for safety & privacy. A raised pet bed and doggie door for access to outside lounging during the day with lush canine grass. This offers over 64 sq ft of space for your pet to roam and enjoy!
- Price: $32/Day - Cabana - (4′ x 8′) Our standard enclosure that offers same accommodations as our cabana but without patio.
- Price: $28/Day - Luxury Suite - (5′ x 8′) For the pampered pet. Our suites offer individual air returns, custom beds, tile floors with ceiling fans and TV’s to help reduce stress and provide a comfortable home-like environment. A suite
with a patio measures 80 sq ft and without a patio measures 40 sq ft.
- Price: $48 (w/Patio)/Day or $40 (No Patio)/Day - Luxury VIP Suite with Patio – (8′ x 8′) Our largest accommodation for your pet which offers all the comforts of home and over 128 sq ft. of roaming space. It’s perfect for a large dog or a family that loves to be together. (Limited Availability)

Exercise
No matter which type of enclosure your pet stays in each guest is taken out three times daily for exercise and potty breaks in our large exercise yards. Guests staying in accommodations with patios will also be taken out three times daily in our exercise yards. All yards are in a secured fenced in area and each guest is always supervised at all times by one of our Certified Pet Care Technicians.

May we suggest making a few doggie daycare reservations during your pets stay for just an additional $12/day *see daycare qualifications for first time guests.
Bedding, Belongings, and Toys
Pet beds are available for each guest. You may bring a small blanket or flat bedding as long as it’s washable. Three toy limit please. For safety, no rope toys are allowed. Collars/leads aren’t necessary unless someone else is picking up your pet. Please make sure all belongings are labeled appropriately with your pet’s name prior to check in.
Food
We encourage you to bring your pet’s regular diet to help alleviate an upset tummy. If you prefer, we will feed our in house diet which is a prescription digestible friendly diet for an additional $3.00/Day. Please bring your pet’s food and/or treats labeled with their name in zip-lock baggies no larger than gallon size. Please no Tupperware, large pet food bags or other types of containers (exceptions with long term boarding guests).
Check-In:
Begins at 12noon Mon – Sat. A full days boarding fee will apply. Pets arriving before check-in are welcome with no extra fees, but your pet may have to wait in a holding area until their room is ready.
Check-Out:
Begins at 12Noon Mon – Sat. Additional charges apply after that time, unless your pet has requested a bath or groom.
*If you need to pick or drop off your pet outside of normal resort hours, you can make special arrangements for an additional fee of $75.00.
Vaccination Requirements
- Rabies
- DHLPP
- Bordetella/Canine Cough (required every 6 months)

Cat Boarding
Our feline guest’s will enjoy their own fun in “Catmandu” in a separate quiet and cozy room.
Accommodations
- Kitty Condo with window – Offers 9sq ft of space for your feline to roam. Each enclosure has two resting benches and a “bird’s eye” view of all the action outside. $20/Day
- Condo no window – Offers same accommodations but without window. $17.00/Day
Exercise
Each day, your cat will be allowed time outside of their sleeping quarters to roam around the room or play on our exercise tree. No matter which enclosure our feline friends stay in, exercise is included in each day’s boarding fee. We feel it is essential for each feline guest’s happiness and well being.

Bedding, Belongings, and Toys
We provide soft cushioned kitty beds for all our guests. If you want to supply your own bedding, please make sure it can be laundered and is small enough to fit in a washing machine.
We encourage you to bring items such as a towel, a small blanket or even an item of your clothing to help make your pet feel more relaxed. Three toy limit please.
